Hocking
Hills State Park is my favorite
nature destination in Ohio. The park is divided into six or seven
different sections but the coolest are Old Man’s Cave and Ash Cave. These
aren’t actually real caves since they were formed by layers of sand sediment
that were washed away from cliffs (but they do look like caves). The caves have
little falls and sometimes, during the winter, the falls freeze and the
landscape is very pretty. The park is about one hour away from Reynoldsburg and
on the way there my family and I sometimes stop by Lake Logan.
