4th of July in the US

The United States celebrates many holidays but one of the largest and most popular is the 4th of July. The 4th of July marks the day that we declared our independence from the British and became an independent nation. On the 4th of July a lot of people will shoot off fireworks or go watch fireworks that their city shoots off to celebrate. There are some people that go to fireworks stores and spend thousands of dollars on fireworks just so they can have a couple hours of fun. I personally don’t see the point but some people like it. Each year my family will go and see the fireworks that my hometown puts on every year. We will get food and hang out with friends and family and just have a good time. The 4th of July is a very important holiday in the United States and is celebrated by millions of people.
